TEGO Foamex 2 is a Organic bio-based-based defoamer for waterborne systems manufactured by Evonik Industries AG (Germany), part of the TEGO Foamex product line. EU Ecolabel.
How It Works
TEGO Foamex 2 enters and spreads across the foam lamella, displacing the stabilizing surfactant film. The hydrophobic particles (silica or wax) in the defoamer puncture the thinned lamella, causing bubble collapse. Emulsion-type grades provide long-term foam prevention; concentrate grades give immediate knockdown.
