How It Works
TEGO Foamex 8880 enters and spreads across the foam lamella, displacing the stabilizing surfactant film. The hydrophobic particles (silica or wax) in the defoamer puncture the thinned lamella, causing bubble collapse. Emulsion-type grades provide long-term foam prevention; concentrate grades give immediate knockdown.
