Aluminum Tripolyphosphate

CAS Number: 15773-35-0

Aluminum tripolyphosphate (ATPP) is a highly effective, lead-free anti-corrosion pigment delivering superior performance compared to conventional zinc phosphate in water-based primer systems. It provides excellent anodic and cathodic inhibition through a combination of aluminum ion passivation and phosphate complex formation on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates. ATPP is particularly suitable for direct-to-metal waterborne coatings requiring VOC compliance.
