Gloss Agent for Architectural Coatings
Gloss agents for architectural coatings are additives that enhance the specular gloss and clarity of waterborne paint films by improving film formation, reducing micro-roughness, and promoting binder coalescence at the film surface. They are based on acrylic or polyurethane dispersions and are used in combination with standard latex binders to boost gloss values in semi-gloss and gloss architectural coatings. These additives also improve stain resistance and cleanability of the finished film.
