Hardener

Hardeners are stoichiometric curing components that react with base resins—primarily epoxy and polyurethane systems—to form fully crosslinked, rigid polymer networks. Unlike catalysts, hardeners are consumed in the reaction and directly contribute to the final polymer structure. Proper selection of hardener type and loading controls the final hardness, flexibility, chemical resistance, and processing characteristics of the cured material.
