Nano-Silica

CAS Number: 7631-86-9

Nano-silica is a synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide with a primary particle size in the 5–40 nm range, offering an exceptionally high specific surface area. It is widely used as a rheology modifier, reinforcing agent, and anti-blocking additive in coatings, adhesives, sealants, and rubber compounds. The nanoscale particle size delivers superior transparency and performance compared to conventional fumed silica at equivalent dosages.
