TNPP (Tris Nonylphenyl Phosphite) Process Stabilizer
CAS Number: 26523-78-4
Tris(nonylphenyl) phosphite (TNPP) is a phosphite-type antioxidant and process stabilizer for polyolefins that decomposes hydroperoxides formed during high-temperature melt processing, preventing discoloration, molecular weight degradation, and viscosity drift in PE and PP. It is particularly effective in recycled polyolefin streams where thermal history is demanding. Typical loading is 0.05–0.3% and it is commonly used in synergy with hindered phenol primary antioxidants.
