Dry-Film Biocide for Architectural Coatings
CAS Number: 2634-33-5
Dry-film biocides for architectural coatings protect applied paint films from fungal and algal attack on interior and exterior surfaces. Active ingredients such as BIT, OIT, IPBC, and zinc pyrithione inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, and algae on painted surfaces, extending the aesthetic life of the coating. These additives are incorporated into the paint formulation and remain active in the cured film for durable long-term protection.
