Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate (CuSO4.5H2O) is the most widely used inorganic copper supplement in animal feeds, essential for haemoglobin synthesis, enzyme function, bone development, and immune response. At pharmacological levels it has historically been used as a growth promoter in swine though current regulations cap inclusion rates.
