Elastomeric Acrylic Emulsion
Elastomeric acrylic emulsions are specially engineered polymer binders with very low glass transition temperatures (Tg < -10°C) that impart high elongation and crack-bridging capability to exterior architectural coatings. Applied in thick films, they bridge hairline cracks in concrete and masonry substrates up to 2 mm, preventing water ingress and protecting structural integrity. These binders are used in elastomeric wall coatings, waterproofing membranes, and anti-carbonation systems.
