Stainless Steel Electropolishing Electrolyte
Stainless steel electropolishing electrolyte is a phosphoric-sulfuric acid blend used to electrochemically dissolve microscopic surface asperities on stainless steel, producing a smooth, bright, and passive surface with superior corrosion resistance. Electropolishing removes the amorphous layer and elemental iron from the surface, enriching the surface in chromium oxide to achieve maximum passivity. It is the preferred finishing method for pharmaceutical, semiconductor, food processing, and medical device stainless steel components.
