Fischer-Tropsch Wax
CAS Number: 8002-74-2
A synthetic paraffinic wax produced by the Fischer-Tropsch process from synthesis gas, yielding a high-purity, low-branching hydrocarbon with a narrow melting range and very low oil content. Compared to petroleum slack waxes, Fischer-Tropsch wax provides superior hardness, gloss, and consistency, making it a preferred choice for high-quality printing inks, hot-melt coatings, and wax blends. Its excellent compatibility with polyolefins and resins enables versatile formulation.
