Manganese Phosphate Coating Chemical

CAS Number: 10124-54-6

Manganese phosphate coating chemical, commonly known as Parkerizing, produces a dark grey to black crystalline manganese phosphate layer on steel and cast iron parts. This heavy coating provides excellent wear resistance, lubricity, and break-in characteristics, making it the preferred pre-treatment for firearm components, gears, and engine parts. The treatment is applied at elevated temperatures followed by oil impregnation for enhanced corrosion protection.
