Phosphite Antioxidant

CAS Number: 31570-04-4

Tris(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl) phosphite (Irgafos 168) secondary phosphite processing stabilizer that decomposes hydroperoxides formed during melt processing before they generate free radicals, thereby preventing color development and maintaining melt viscosity. It is the most widely used processing stabilizer for polyolefins, offering synergistic performance with hindered phenolic primary antioxidants.
