Polymaleic Acid (HPMA)

CAS Number: 26099-09-2

Hydrolyzed polymaleic acid (HPMA) is a low-molecular-weight polymer excellent at inhibiting calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and calcium phosphate scales in high-temperature and high-hardness water systems. It exhibits superior thermal stability compared to polyacrylic acid, making it ideal for high-temperature boiler and process water applications. HPMA also acts as a dispersant for iron and other metal oxides.
