Polysorbate 20 is a highly water-soluble nonionic emulsifier and solubilizer made from polyethoxylated sorbitan and lauric acid. With an HLB value of approximately 16.7, it excels at solubilizing fragrances, essential oils, and lipid-soluble actives into clear aqueous formulations such as toners, mists, and micellar waters. It is gentle enough for sensitive skin applications.
