Silicone-Modified Acrylic Emulsion
Silicone-modified acrylic emulsions combine the film-forming properties of acrylic polymers with the outstanding hydrophobicity, UV resistance, and thermal stability of silicone chemistry. They are used in high-performance exterior facade paints and protective masonry coatings where exceptional water repellency and long-term weather resistance are required. The silicone modification imparts lotus-effect-type self-cleaning properties and significantly reduces dirt pick-up on exterior surfaces.
