Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) is a mild anionic surfactant produced by ethoxylation of lauryl alcohol followed by sulfation. Compared to SLS, SLES is significantly milder to skin and eyes, making it the preferred primary surfactant in baby care, sensitive-skin shampoos, and premium body washes. It provides rich, stable foam and excellent cleansing performance.
