Soy Protein Isolate Wood Adhesive
CAS Number: 9010-10-0
Soy Protein Isolate (SPI) Wood Adhesive is produced from denatured soy protein crosslinked with epichlorohydrin or PAE (polyamidoamine-epichlorohydrin) resin to achieve moisture-resistant, formaldehyde-free bonding in plywood and particleboard applications. With ≥90% protein content and a neutral application pH of 7–9, it meets CARB Phase II ATCM emission requirements. Suitable as a direct replacement for urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin in engineered wood panels.
