Tile Adhesive Additive
Tile adhesive additives are redispersible polymer powders (RDP) or liquid polymer dispersions incorporated into cementitious tile adhesive formulations to improve open time, slip resistance, flexibility, and bond strength. They plasticize the hardened cement matrix and create a polymer-cement co-matrix that resists thermal cycling, moisture, and vibration. These additives enable classification of tile adhesives to C2S1 and C2S2 categories per EN 12004 for demanding interior and exterior tiling applications.
