Vinyl-Acrylic Emulsion
Vinyl-acrylic emulsions (VAE) are copolymer binders of vinyl acetate and acrylic esters that provide cost-effective performance for interior and semi-exposed architectural coatings. They deliver good wet scrub resistance, opacity, and tint acceptance at lower cost than pure acrylic alternatives, making them the preferred binder for value interior latex paints. VAE emulsions have good compatibility with TiO2 and conventional paint additives and are widely used in flat, eggshell, and low-sheen interior formulations.
