Paraffin Wax (Plastic Grade)
CAS Number: 8002-74-2
Paraffin Wax for plastic processing is a refined petroleum-derived wax used as an external lubricant and mold-release agent in PVC, rubber, and polyolefin compounds. It reduces friction at the metal surface during extrusion and calendering, improving surface gloss and reducing die build-up. Plastic-grade paraffin wax is available in various melting point grades to suit different processing temperatures.
