Anti-Blocking Agent
CAS Number: 7631-86-9
Anti-blocking agents are fine inorganic or organic particulate additives incorporated into plastic films to prevent adjacent film layers from sticking together during winding, storage, and processing. They work by creating microscopic surface roughness that reduces the contact area between film surfaces. Common types include amorphous silica, talc, kaolin, and synthetic silica.
