Slip Agent for Plastics

CAS Number: 301-02-0

Slip agents are fatty acid amide-based additives that migrate to the surface of plastic films to reduce the coefficient of friction (COF), enabling smooth film movement over processing equipment and packaging machinery. Erucamide and oleamide are the two most widely used types, differing in migration speed and long-term stability. They are essential for high-speed packaging lines.
