Silicone Antifoam / Defoamer for Oilfield Production
Silicone-based oilfield defoamer is a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) emulsion or compound formulation used to control foam in crude oil separation, produced water treatment, gas scrubbing, and drilling fluid systems. It is effective at extremely low dosages (1–50 ppm) and rapidly collapses both surface foam and entrained gas bubbles. The product is compatible with amine gas treating units, crude oil separators, produced water systems, and drilling mud systems.
