Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM) — VIT Series
Número CAS: 9003-05-8
Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) VIT Series are high-molecular-weight cationic flocculants and dewatering aids produced by copolymerisation of acrylamide with quaternary ammonium monomers (DMDAAC). Ionicity spans 10–60 mol%, enabling application-specific performance in sludge dewatering, papermaking wet-end retention and drainage, and industrial effluent treatment where negatively charged colloids and suspended solids require charge neutralisation. Solid powder form (≥88% active) is dissolved at 0.2% concentration prior to dosing. Residual monomer ≤0.05%.

Aplicaciones
- Municipal sewage sludge dewatering on belt filter press and centrifuge
- Industrial sludge conditioning: paper, food, textile, and chemical plant effluent
- Papermaking wet-end: retention, drainage, and formation aid
- Drinking water and process water clarification (colloidal turbidity)
- Coal slurry and mining wastewater dewatering
- Oil-field produced water treatment: oil-water separation
Características Principales
- Ionicity range 10–60 mol% — 6 grades (VIT-8010 to VIT-8060) match any sludge or water matrix
- High charge density at elevated ionicity — effective at very low dosage for difficult sludges
- Low residual monomer ≤0.05% — meets GB/T 17514 and environmental discharge standards
- Solid powder — 2-year shelf life at dry, cool storage; simple solution preparation at site
- Compatible with anionic flocculants (APAM) for sequential or dual-polymer dosing
