Cocamide DEA (Coconut Diethanolamide)
Número CAS: 61791-31-9
Cocamide DEA (Coconut Diethanolamide) is a non-ionic surfactant produced by condensation of coconut fatty acids with diethanolamine, yielding a mixture of C8–C18 fatty acid diethanolamides. It functions primarily as a foam booster and foam stabilizer in anionic surfactant systems, and simultaneously contributes viscosity building, emollient effects, and mild cleansing performance. Cocamide DEA is widely used at 1–5% in shampoos, dishwashing liquids, and bubble baths as a cost-effective co-surfactant.
