Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate

Número CAS: 137-16-6

Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate (SLS-Sar, INCI: Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate) is a mild amino acid-based anionic surfactant produced by N-acylation of sarcosine (N-methyl glycine) with lauroyl chloride or coconut fatty acids. It provides excellent foam quality, low irritation to skin and mucous membranes, and anti-bacterial activity against cariogenic organisms in oral care, making it the preferred alternative to SLS in sensitive skin and baby product formulations. Compatible with cationic actives, quaternary ammonium compounds, and nonionic surfactants.
