Condensed Tannin Wood Adhesive (Wattle/Quebracho)
Polyflavonoid condensed tannin extracted from wattle bark or quebracho wood, used as a bio-based binder in exterior-grade plywood and MDF. Cured with hexamethylenetetramine (hexamine) at 180–200°C to form a thermoset phenolic-type network. Provides a formaldehyde-free alternative to conventional UF resin adhesives, meeting E0 and super-E0 emission standards.
