Rubber Accelerator CBS
CAS Number: 95-33-0
Accelerator CBS (N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide) is a primary sulfenamide accelerator widely used in tire and industrial rubber vulcanization. It provides delayed action with a safe scorch time followed by a fast cure rate, making it ideal for complex molded goods. CBS is the most commonly used sulfenamide accelerator and is often combined with secondary accelerators such as TMTD for improved crosslink density.
