Anthraquinone
CAS Number: 84-65-1
Anthraquinone is the parent compound and primary intermediate for a large family of vat dyes, reactive dyes, and disperse dyes based on the anthraquinonoid chromophore system. It is also used as a pulp cooking catalyst in the paper industry and as a starting material for the synthesis of amino- and hydroxy-anthraquinone derivatives. Chemzip offers technical-grade anthraquinone for dye and paper chemical manufacturers.
