Phytase 5000 FTU/g
CAS Number: 37288-11-2
Phytase 5000 FTU/g is a feed enzyme that hydrolyses phytic acid in plant-based ingredients, releasing bound phosphorus, calcium, and other minerals that are otherwise unavailable to monogastric animals. It significantly reduces the need for inorganic phosphate supplementation and lowers phosphorus excretion into the environment. Our product is heat-stable and maintains activity through standard feed pelleting processes.

Applications
- Swine and poultry diets to release phytate-bound phosphorus
- Reducing inorganic phosphate supplementation costs in all livestock feeds
- Environmental phosphorus reduction programmes to lower farm effluent P
- Aquafeed where phytate in plant proteins reduces mineral bioavailability
- Premix production as a key NSP-enzyme component
Key Features
- High specific activity 5000 FTU/g enabling low inclusion rates
- Thermostable formulation resistant to standard pelleting temperatures
- Releases equivalent of 1–2 g available phosphorus per kg feed
- Synergistic with vitamin D3 for improved phosphorus and calcium utilisation
