Self-Healing Additive

A microencapsulated polyurethane-based self-healing additive that autonomously repairs micro-scratches and minor coating damage through a triggered release of healing agent from ruptured microcapsules. Upon mechanical damage, the healing agent flows into the damaged zone and re-crosslinks to restore coating continuity, barrier properties, and appearance. This technology extends coating service life and reduces maintenance costs for premium surface finishes.
