Anti-Scratch Additive
CAS Number: 9006-65-9
A high-molecular-weight silicone polyether anti-scratch additive that migrates to the coating surface during cure to form a durable, low-friction slip layer. This surface-active layer significantly reduces the coefficient of friction, improving resistance to marring, scratching, and scuffing without compromising coating adhesion or recoatability. It is effective at low dosages in both waterborne and solvent-borne topcoat formulations.
