Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)
CAS Number: 151-21-3
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is a primary anionic surfactant with strong foaming and detergency performance, produced by sulfation of lauryl alcohol followed by sodium neutralization. It is the standard active ingredient in toothpaste and pharmaceutical oral care products, and is widely used in industrial and personal care cleaners. Available as a white powder (≥96% active) for dry-blending and granulation, or as a 30% aqueous liquid for direct formulation.
