Waterborne Alkyd Emulsion
Waterborne alkyd emulsions are oxidatively drying binders that combine the traditional performance of solvent-based alkyds with the environmental benefits of a water-borne system. They provide excellent gloss, hardness development, and substrate adhesion for architectural trim, wood, and metal coatings. These emulsions are formulated with drier packages and are compatible with conventional latex additives, enabling low-VOC reformulation of traditional alkyd paints.
