Wetting Agent
CAS Number: 577-11-7
Sodium dioctyl sulfosuccinate (DOSS) wetting agent that dramatically reduces the surface tension of aqueous systems, enabling rapid penetration and wetting of porous substrates such as paper, textiles, and wood. It is used as a processing aid in coatings, inks, and textile treatments to improve substrate wetting. Highly effective at concentrations as low as 0.01%.
