Accelerator MBTS (2,2'-dibenzothiazyldisulfide) is a thiazole-type primary accelerator providing moderate cure rate with good scorch safety for natural and synthetic rubber. It is widely used alone or as a secondary accelerator in combination with sulfenamides and guanidines to achieve optimal vulcanization characteristics. MBTS is particularly valued in NR, SBR, and NBR compounds for its predictable, controllable cure behavior.
