Rubber Accelerator TMTD
CAS Number: 137-26-8
Accelerator TMTD (tetramethylthiuram disulfide) is a thiuram-type ultra-fast accelerator that functions both as a secondary accelerator and as a sulfur donor in sulfur-free vulcanization systems. It provides fast cure rates and excellent heat aging resistance due to the formation of monosulfidic crosslinks. TMTD is commonly used in combination with CBS or MBTS to enhance crosslink density and reduce reversion.
