Ground calcium carbonate (GCC) and precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) are widely used fillers in wood putty, grain filler, and sealer primer formulations. They provide cost-effective volume extension, good whiteness, and easy sanding. Ultra-fine grades are used in high-quality wood sanding sealers to achieve smooth, sandable surfaces before topcoat application.
