Coupling Agent
CAS Number: 2530-87-2
Bifunctional organosilane coupling agent (3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane) that improves the interfacial adhesion between inorganic fillers or substrates and organic polymer matrices. One end of the molecule reacts with inorganic surfaces via hydrolysis and condensation, while the organofunctional end co-reacts with the polymer matrix. Widely used in fiber-reinforced composites and filled rubber.
