Crease Recovery Agent
CAS Number: 57-55-6
Crease recovery agent is a polyol or polycarboxylic acid-based finishing agent that improves the elastic recovery of cellulosic fibers from bending deformation, resulting in superior dry and wet crease recovery angles. Unlike formaldehyde-based DMDHEU, modern polycarboxylic acid systems are formaldehyde-free and provide comparable crease resistance with enhanced tensile strength retention. Suitable for wrinkle-free shirting, bedding, and dress fabrics.
