DMDHEU Wrinkle Resist Agent

DMDHEU (dimethylol dihydroxyethylene urea) is the industry-standard durable press and wrinkle-resist finishing agent for cotton and cellulosic fabrics. It reacts with cellulose hydroxyl groups under acid catalyst and heat to form permanent crosslinks that suppress fiber swelling and reduce wrinkle formation. Treated fabrics exhibit excellent smooth-drying properties, dimensional stability, and crease retention, critical for dress shirts, trousers, and home textiles.
