Lipase Enzyme Feed Grade
CAS Number: 9001-62-1
Lipase Enzyme Feed Grade is a triacylglycerol lipase that hydrolyses ester bonds in dietary fats and oils, improving fat digestion efficiency particularly in young animals and aged birds with declining bile salt and lipase secretion. It can increase the metabolisable energy value of fat-containing feeds by 3–10%. Our product is produced by microbial fermentation with a thermostable coating suitable for pelleted diets.

Applications
- Broiler and layer feeds to improve fat digestibility and energy utilisation
- Young piglet diets where pancreatic lipase secretion is low post-weaning
- Feeds with saturated fats or tallow inclusion to improve digestion
- Aquafeed with high lipid formulations for salmonids and sea bass
- Multi-enzyme premixes to complement NSP and protease enzyme activity
Key Features
- Increases metabolisable energy from dietary fats by 3–10%
- Particularly effective on saturated fats and palm oil fractions
- Thermostable microencapsulated form maintains activity in pelleting
- Synergistic with bile salt emulsifiers enhancing fat droplet surface area
