Tranexamic Acid (Cosmetic Grade)

CAS Number: 1197-18-8

Tranexamic acid is a synthetic lysine derivative that inhibits melanin synthesis by blocking the interaction between keratinocytes and melanocytes, effectively reducing hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and uneven skin tone with excellent safety and tolerability. It works through a different pathway than traditional brightening agents, making it ideal for combination brightening formulas. Used at 2–5% in serums, toners, and brightening creams.
