Trivalent Chromium Passivation Agent
Trivalent chromium passivation agent is an environmentally friendly alternative to hexavalent chromate treatments, producing a clear to blue iridescent conversion coating on electroplated zinc, zinc-nickel, and aluminum substrates. Compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations, the Cr3+ coating offers corrosion resistance comparable to yellow Cr6+ treatments while eliminating hazardous hexavalent chromium waste. It is the preferred solution for automotive, electronics, and consumer goods industries transitioning away from Cr6+.
