Zinc Stearate

CAS Number: 557-05-1

Zinc Stearate is a white metallic soap powder serving as a primary external lubricant, mold-release agent, and PVC co-stabilizer in plastic and rubber processing. In PVC stabilizer systems, it reacts with the HCl generated during thermal degradation, providing initial color stability. It is also a key lubricant and release agent in rubber vulcanization and thermoplastic compounding.
