Acrylic Processing Aid
Acrylic Processing Aid is a high-molecular-weight polymethyl methacrylate-based additive that significantly improves the fusion, melt strength, and processing behavior of rigid PVC compounds. It accelerates gelation and homogenizes the melt, resulting in improved surface gloss, dimensional stability, and reduced melt fracture. Used at 1–3 phr, it is essential for high-output extrusion, calendering, and injection molding of rigid PVC.
