Antioxidant TMQ (polymerized 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline) is a classic quinoline-type antioxidant providing excellent protection against thermal oxidation and aging in natural and synthetic rubber. It is particularly effective for long-term heat aging resistance and complements the ozone protection offered by PPD-type antidegradants. TMQ is a staple in tire, belt, and general rubber goods formulations worldwide.
