Silicone Waterproofing Agent for Textiles

CAS Number: 68611-44-9

Silicone waterproofing agent for textiles is a reactive methylhydrogen siloxane-based product that chemically bonds to fiber hydroxyl groups upon curing, creating a hydrophobic silicone network that repels water while maintaining fabric breathability and softness. Unlike fluorocarbon DWRs, it offers an eco-friendly, non-fluorinated waterproofing solution suitable for outerwear, umbrellas, and awnings. Delivers excellent wash durability when combined with a catalyst.
